Giving it a go

So far, so good.  Well since last week's tweaking of the hamstring I decided to give it a rest.  Well that was before the refereeing schedule came out.  8 games over the weekend, along with heading out with Nancy's crew Saturday night and Hannie's team involved in the same tournament with 3 games.
So Wednesday night I head out to Sports Authority and pickup a thigh compression wrap and see how I make out running up and down the court.  And I have to admit that I was more than pleasantly surprised and extremely optimistic.  I was starting to get (for lack of a better word) depressed about the running over the past few weeks; no energy, stagnent splits, and the constant pains but this may just be what I needed.  Going to wrap her up and give her a go tonight.  Keep you fingers crossed for me.
On a side note, very happy to report that after starting 0-5, Hannie's team went 2-1 this weekend, including a 9 point loss to a A team in the final game.  The girls are working hard to pick up a new offense that we just put in but is showing some real promise.
Be well - Sank
